ZE Auto Repair October 7, 2003 <br /> Stockton California Results of Additional Site Investigation <br /> 4' or ppm) total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) were reported in soil boring P-4 at <br /> • 10 and 15 feet bsg, respectively No analytes were reported in soli samples collected from <br /> borings P-1 through P-3, P-5 and P-6 <br /> In August 2002, AGE advanced one additional geoprobe soil boring (P-7) at the location <br /> shown on Figure 2 The geoprobe investigation was documented by AGE in Additional <br /> Subsurface Investigation Report dated September 5, 2002 Concentrations of 1300, 6700, <br /> and 2300 ppm TPHg were reported in soil boring P-7 at 35, 45, and 50 feet bsg, respectively <br /> A groundwater sample was collected from soil boring P-7 using a temporary screened <br /> casing Concentrations of 12,000,000 micrograms per liter (parts per billion or ppb) TPHg <br /> and 60,000 ppb benzene were reported in the groundwater sample No fuel oxygenates were <br /> reported in the soil and groundwater samples <br /> ADDITIONAL SITE INVESTIGATION <br /> The purpose of the additional site investigation was to evaluate petroleum-hydrocarbon <br /> iimpacts in soil and groundwater The work performed included the drilling and installation <br /> of four groundwater monitoring wells All fieldwork was conducted in accordance with <br /> Horizon Field Methods and Procedures (Appendix B) <br /> Gregg Drilling and Testing Inc (license No C57-485165) of Martinez, California was <br /> retained to provide drilling and well construction services Well permit SR# 34019 <br /> (Appendix A) was obtained from the SJCEHD to allow installation of the wells <br /> Underground Service Alert (USA) was notified to locate and mark underground utilities <br /> adjacent to the site <br /> On July 22 and 23, 2003, Horizon conducted drilling and installation of four monitoring <br /> wells (MW-1 through MW-4) at the locations shown on Figure 2 Soil descriptions, soil <br /> sampling and field screening data and well construction details were recorded on soil boring <br /> logs (Appendix C) Soils were described using the Unified Soil Classification System <br /> 1 792rpt 10-03 <br /> Project No 1792 12 3 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
