ZE Auto Repair <br />' Stockton California October 7,2003 <br /> Results of Addttwnal Site lnvestt anon <br /> Soil analytical results indicate TPHd, TPHg, and BTEX concentrations in soil samples <br /> • collected from the monitoring well MW-1 boring The highest concentrations were reported <br /> in the 35-foot sample No TPHd, TPHg, and BTEX concentrations were reported in soil <br /> samples collected from the monitoring well MW-2, MW-3, and MW-4 borings <br /> Soil analytical data collected in this and previous investigations indicate the lateral extent of <br /> impacted soil is localized to the area of the southeastern dispenser (borings P-4, P-7 and <br /> monitoring well MW-1) Analytical results of soil samples collected from the monitoring <br /> well MW-1 boring indicate that the vertical extent of impacted soil is not delineated <br /> The highest concentrations of TPHg, BTEX, and lead scavenger compounds were reported <br /> in the groundwater sample collected from monitoring well MW-1 Analyte concentrations <br /> in groundwater from monitoring wells MW-2, MW-3, and MW-4 are generally near or <br /> below reporting limits <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based on the results of this investigation, Horizon recommends <br /> • Initiation of quarterly monitoring of the site wells in order to verify data collected during <br /> this Investigation and to identify trends in ground,,iater quality and in the groundwater <br /> gradient, and <br /> • develop a work plan to further evaluate the vertical and lateral extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater, and to conduct remedial feasibility studies <br /> 1792rpt 10-03 <br /> Project No 179212 7 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC. <br />
