° ZE Auto Repair <br /> Stockton California October 7,2003 <br /> Results of Additional Site Investi ation <br /> On August 18, 2003 Horizon transported the drill cuttings stockpile to Forward Landfill for <br /> disposal The cuttings were hauled under a Non-Hazardous Waste Manifest No 2.1787 with <br /> Waste Acceptance No 3614 Copies of the manifest and Forward Inc scale ticket are <br /> contained in Appendix G <br /> WATER WELL SURVEY <br /> A well survey was conducted by Horizon to identify potential well receptors within 2000 <br /> feet of the site Horizon obtained authorization from the SJCEHD to perform a record <br /> review at the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) The signed Well Driller's <br /> Reports Inspection Request and Agreement authorizing Horizon to review the DWR records <br /> is contained in Appendix A A portion of a topographic map that includes the site location <br /> and shows section numbers is also contained in Appendix A <br /> The site location, as described above in the Site Description section, was referenced to the <br /> DWR files to access the pertinent records Twelve records were found with State Well <br /> . Numbers that indicated the wells were located in Section 22 or the neighboring Section 34 <br /> None of the well locations described in the 12 records found were within 2000 feet of the <br /> site <br /> RESULTS OF ADDITIONAL SITE INVESTIGATION <br /> The soil profile at the site is depicted in two cross sections trending north-south (A-A'), and <br /> southwest-northeast (13-13) as shown on Figure 2 The cross sections are shown on Figures 3 <br /> and 4 The upper 40 feet of the soil profile at the site generally consists of clay, sandy clay, <br /> silt, sandy silt, clayey silt, and silty sand Soils encountered from approximately 40 to 55 <br /> feet bsg (the maximum depth explored) consists of sand, silty sand, and silt Evaluation of <br /> groundwater Ievel data indicate that flow is generally northward under a gradient of <br /> approximately 0 02, as shown on Figure 5 <br /> 1792rpt10-03 <br /> Project No 1792 12 6 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
