r r 2 AUGUST 2002 GROUNDWATER MONITORING Groundwater monitoring procedures and findings are contained in this section 2.1 Groundwater Monitoring Procedures A geologist from Kleinfelder (PSC's subcontractor), of Sacramento, California, performed groundwater monitoring on August 1, 2002 Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-4, MW-9, MW-10, MW-12, MW-13, SP-1, SP-2, PZ-1 and PZ-2 as directed by the EHD Pnor to sample collection, Kleinfelder's geologist measured groundwater levels in these wells, and the potential presence of free phase gasoline product with an electronic oil/water interface probe Free phase gasoline product has rnever been observed in any well Kleinfelder's geologist purged a minimum of three well volumes of ' groundwater from each well into 55-gallon drums using clean, dedicated bailers Field parameters pH, temperature, and electncal conductivity were measured for stability The 55-gallon drums were temporanly stored on-site, then removed and transported to PSC's licensed, California waste disposal facility Groundwater samples were collected with clean, disposable bailers, and transferred into clean laboratory-provided containers Sample containers were sealed, labeled, and stored in an iced chest for subsequent delivery to the analytical laboratory Samples were delivered with chain-of-custody control to Severn Trent Laboratory in San Francisco, California Samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), TPH-G and oxygenate compounds TBA, MTBE, DIVE, ETBE, and TAME using EPA Method 8260B r r r r i 8 August 2002 Groundwater Monitoring And Remedlatlon Status Report The Earthgralns Baking Company 2651 South Airport Way Stockton California Prepared for rHE.EARTHGRAINS BAKING COMPANY Prepared by Philip Services Corp H%NV1624001325 1 2 1382EG\Swcktonl5tockton10802mon doe September 2,2002
