S.Alert tray, Stockton-water wells, sampling update
Hello all,
On June J ,2015,1 met at the S.Airport site with Joe Rarna e,his technician Flat, and Ben Guzman of public Works
s
Maintenance tenanc.e and Utility Department.Joe was unable to sample the well at location I on the attached well location map
("Stockton Field Annex Well No.r). Attempts to gain access to the well casing were unsuccessful.Ben mentioned this
well has been out of service since 1988®Joe, Flab and Berl discussed options to gains well casing access to obtain
groundwater sample.Options discussed ussed included the following.temporarily move the top assembly;remove the existing
pump and Esse a test pump, use a generator to start up the existing pump(Ben used a voltmeter or multimeter to test
wiring);or simply destroy the well so Pt's no longer a conduit concern, collecting a sample during the process if required.
After accessing thewill camicroa-p rging was mentioned as an option to purge and obtain a sample.
