Work Plan for Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation at the California Army National Guard
Stockton Field Maintenance Shop, Stockton, California
4.0 REPORTING
Results from groundwater monitoring well installation and groundwater monitoring will be
documented in reports to be submitted to the CVRWQCB on a quarterly basis. The
approximate schedule for submittal of the reports is addressed below, and will be dependent
upon when this Work Plan is approved by the CVRWQCB and well installation activities are
implemented.
4.1 QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORTS
The proposed reporting program includes the preparation of three quarterly groundwater
monitoring reports, with the first to include a description of well installation activities along with
groundwater sampling results. The quarterly reports will include a tabulation of groundwater
analytical data and site maps depicting the locations of monitoring wells, analytical results for
groundwater samples (contoured, as appropriate), and contoured groundwater elevations
indicating the direction and magnitude of groundwater flow. Monitoring well purge/sample logs,
COC documentation, and groundwater analytical reports will be included as appendices. The
reports will be submitted to the CVRWQCB for review along with a cover letter detailing the
respective groundwater monitoring events, findings associated with them, and any problems or
concerns that arose during sampling activities.
As indicated above, and in addition to groundwater monitoring data, the first quarterly
groundwater monitoring report will also include documentation regarding monitoring well
installation. This documentation will include tabulated soil sample analytical results and •
physical findings associated with soil sampling, well construction, and well development.
Appendices to this report will also include soil boring logs/well construction diagrams, COC
documentation for soil samples, laboratory analytical reports for soil samples and well
development logs.
4.2 FOURTH QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT
Following completion of the fourth quarterly groundwater monitoring event, a report
summarizing the four quarterly monitoring events and related findings will be prepared and
submitted to the CVRWQCB for review. The report will provide a thorough assessment of data
from the four events, including a comparison of quarterly results for both groundwater chemistry
and gradient. In addition, the fourth quarterly report will provide recommendations for future
actions or closure, as appropriate to site findings and conditions.
All reports will be reviewed and stamped by a California -registered Professional Geologist (PG)
or Professional Engineer (PE). Additionally, all reports will be uploaded to the Geo Tracker
system, as required.
OTIE 10
