Notification#1600-2018-0116-R3 <br /> Streambed Alteration Agreement <br /> Page 5 of 16 <br /> • Chinook Salmon (winter-run) (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha), State-listed as <br /> Endangered <br /> • Delta Smelt (Hypomesus transpacificus), State-listed as Endangered <br /> • Sacramento Splittail (Pogonichthys macrolepidotus), State Species of Special <br /> Concern <br /> • Benthic invertebrates <br /> • Nesting birds <br /> • Roosting bats <br /> • Water quality <br /> The adverse effects the project could have on the fish or wildlife resources identified <br /> above include: <br /> • Temporary increased water turbidity due to soil disturbance and barge movement <br /> • Temporary water contamination <br /> • Temporary increased noise disturbance and vibrations <br /> • Temporary loss of aquatic species' habitat, including migration corridors <br /> • Direct impacts from boring on benthic invertebrates <br /> • Accidental release of hazardous chemicals <br /> • Mortality of fish <br /> • Disruption to nesting bird behaviors and activities <br /> • Displacement of roosting bats <br /> • Mortality of benthic inverts <br /> • Disruption to fish migration and spawning activity <br /> MEASURES TO PROTECT FISH AND WILDLIFE RESOURCES <br /> 1. Administrative Measures <br /> Permittee shall meet each administrative requirement described below. <br /> 1.1 Notification of Work Initiation/Completion. Permittee shall notify CDFW 48 hours <br /> prior to the initiation of construction and 48 hours following completion of work. <br /> 1.2 Documentation at Project Site. Permittee shall make the Agreement, any <br /> extensions and amendments to the Agreement, and all related notification <br /> materials and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents, readily <br /> available at the project site at all times and shall be presented to CDFW personnel, <br /> or personnel from another state, federal, or local agency upon request. <br /> 1.3 Providing Agreement to Persons at Project Site. Permittee shall provide copies of <br /> the Agreement and any extensions and amendments to the Agreement to all <br /> persons who will be working on the project at the project site on behalf of <br /> Permittee, including but not limited to contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and <br /> monitors. <br />
