Air compressors <br />b. Air grinders <br />c. Man lift tripods <br />d. Fluorescent (explosion proof) light <br />e. Air hoses <br />All equipment must meet or exceed the OSHA/ANSI <br />requirements. All persons using the equipment must know and <br />understand the laws that govern the equipment that they will be <br />using. All persons that arrive on the site must be aware of the <br />equipment that are being used and the dangers. Visitors must <br />check in with the site safety officer. All equipment operators <br />must be certified to operate the equipment that they are <br />operating - <br />5. 1. 2 <br />perating. <br />5.1.2 Eire/Explosion Hazards <br />The station will be shut down during the operation. All <br />tanks will be washed and LEL levels brought to below 10% <br />before entering. <br />Explosion- the LEL levels must be at 10% or lower to enter the <br />tanks. These are NIOSH and OSHA standards that are set for <br />the chemical BENZENE, TOLUENE ETHYLBENZENE <br />vapors that may be present during the operation. <br />
