The vapor is absorbed <br />through the lungs and the liquid may be absorbed through the skin. <br />Prolonged skin contact can cause de -fatting of the skin, leading to dermatitis. <br />In addition benzene is a confirmed carcinogen. These affects have been <br />reported for pure chemical substance. <br />6. tl Air Monitoring Flan <br />!Due to the nature of the chemicals an site and the scope of the <br />operations, air monitoring wilt be conducted to prevent any build up <br />of volatile hydrocarbor_s that may he an eXPIOsive hard.
