Emergency <br />repairs relating to UST system monitoring and release detection may be performed by a properly licensed, trained, and <br />certified contractor pursuant to the EHUS policy and a permit obtained within one business day from the EHD. All <br />other repairs must have a permit submitted to and approved by the EHD prior to beginning work. Immediately obtain a <br />permit from the EHD for the 91 STP sump sensor. A "Failure to Obtain a Permit" penalty applies. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />306 <br />CCR 2630(d) Monitoring equipment is not installed or maintained to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br />The 87 sump sensor was located on top of the saddle and not located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br />Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest possible opportunity. The sensor <br />was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician.
