Eight 55 -gallon metal containers that previously held hazardous material were observed outside the <br />warehouse area, near the hazardous material storage area. Containers larger than five gallons that <br />previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br />within one year of being emptied. Mr. Mozingo couldn't provide the date these containers were emptied, <br />and also stated that these containers will be removed to an office location for proper disposal right away. <br />Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. <br />605. One 55 -gallon metal container (located near the hazardous material storage area; located inside an <br />over pack drum) was identified by Mr. Mozingo as hazardous waste in need of disposal. According to the <br />container's label it contains "Forest green low VOC gel C". All hazardous waste containers shall be <br />marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label this container and ensure that all future containers are marked with all the required <br />information. Since it cannot be determined how long the this container been on site, immediately <br />contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br />the manifest to the EHD by June 6, 2014. <br />703. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is not current; emergency <br />coordinator information was incorrect. There must be at least one emergency coordinator on site or on <br />call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following information must be posted by a <br />phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill <br />control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, unless the <br />facility has a direct alarm. This form was updated at the time of inspection.
