Aboveground Storage Tank and Secondary Tank Assessment <br /> TRACY CHEVROLET <br /> 3400 Auto Plaza Way, Tracy, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> The purpose of this Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Assessment is to assess the <br /> condition of the waste oil tank (AST) used at Tracy Chevrolet (Facility), located at 3400 <br /> Auto Plaza Way,Tracy, California. Additionally,the assessment addresses compliance with <br /> AST requirements for use as a vessel for temporary storage and accumulation of the waste <br /> oil from Facility industrial activity. <br /> 2.0. TANK ASSESSMENT <br /> The purpose of this Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Assessment is to assess that the <br /> Facility meets the requirements for AST use for the purposes of temporary storing and <br /> temporary accumulation of the waste oil from industrial activity at the Facility. The Facility <br /> location map is included as Figure 1. The Facility site map is included as Figure 2. Figure <br /> 3 includes the AST schematic, including the top, front (east facing) and right (north facing) <br /> sides. The professional engineer AST assessment certification is included after the title <br /> page. Specific sections of the assessment are also certified in Table 1. <br /> 2.1 . ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK (AST) DESCRIPTION <br /> The waste oil AST is double walled, with the outer shell having a 110% containment <br /> capacity of the inner tank. The AST description is included as Table 2. <br /> 2.1 .1. AST Name and Markings <br /> The AST is identified by Facility personnel as the waste oil tank. There are labels clearly <br /> legible on the top, north and east sides of the AST, including: <br /> • Waste Oil; <br /> • Waste disposal collection; <br /> • Used oil; and <br /> • Underwriters Laboratory (UL) placard. <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmcntal,Inc. <br />
