Filter Press (Press cake) Procedure <br /> Process: Waste water treatment system <br /> 1. Alarm will sound <br /> 2. Filter press light will flash or blink <br /> 3. Turn off the filter press mode switch from manual mode <br /> 4. Close number 1,2,3 valves <br /> 5. Open air valve, top one <br /> 6. Wait for 30 to 45 minutes <br /> 7. Close air valve, the one on top <br /> 8. Loose valve on hydraulic tank slowly and open the tank vent and pull off lock <br /> 9. Raise cylinder up and let it rest on stop <br /> 10. Pull with two hands the filter pressure plate all the way back <br /> 11. Open one filter at a time and clean it with special tool (scraper) provide <br /> Note: Put on rubber gloves when cleaning those filters <br /> 12. After cleaning, put all the filters back to place and bring the pressure cylinder to original <br /> position <br /> 13. Close valve on cylinder tank <br /> 14. Stroke the arm until you reach 6000 psi then lock the arm and close the vent <br /> 15. go back to control panel and press the filter press reset button for a few seconds then wait <br /> until stop flashing and turn on the fitter press mode switch to manual <br /> This procedure is done by maintenance (Plant superintendent for back up) <br />
