Broadway, Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> 20 & 50. No hazardous waste label on 55-gallon drum of used oil container inside the shop. <br /> -- All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste' <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> * Immediately label the above container and ensure that all other hazardous waste containers are <br /> marked with all the required information. Since the container have been on site longer than 180 days, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by June 18. 2011. <br /> 23. Observed three unlabeled 55-gallon drums of used oil filters outside the shop, and at least three <br /> loose used oil filters not in a container inside the shop. <br /> -- Used oil filters must be completely drained, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained <br /> used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. <br /> * Immediately containerize any loose used oil filters, recycle the above used oil filters as scrap metal <br /> under a bill of lading or manage them as hazardous waste. Submit a copy of the disposal receipts of the <br /> used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD b to the EHD <br /> by June 18, 2011. Ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> 27. The two metal drums of oil south of Valley Shingle, and two metal and one poly drums of oil outside <br /> the shop, and one used oil drum inside the shop (see Item #7) were not closed. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> * Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste. <br /> 30. Observed at least three poly and one metal empty 55-gallon hazardous waste or hazardous material <br /> containers with no date when it first became waste. <br /> -- Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the <br /> date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> * Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section.
