Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for last three years were not available for <br /> inspection. <br /> -- Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and <br /> all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily <br /> available for review. <br /> * Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, <br /> and submit copies to the EHD by June 18, 2011. <br /> 64. Copies of receipts of spent lead acid batteries the last three years were not available for inspection. <br /> -- Spent lead acid batteries shall be managed within one year of storage, and a copy of the disposal <br /> records shall be retained for at least 3 years on site available for inspection. <br /> * Submit a copy of the last 3 years of spent lead acid batteries to EHD by June 18, 2011. Ensure spent <br /> lead acid batteries are managed within one year of storage, and retain a copy of the disposal records on <br /> site for at least 3 years. <br /> 79,83,84. Unable to determine the length of storage of fifteen Universal Waste fluorescent lamps and <br /> one broken lamp not stored in a closed and labelled container. Failed to containerize and manage the <br /> one broken lamp. <br /> -- Universal Wastes shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the <br /> environment. The container shall be labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste and marked the <br /> initial date of accumulation, and managed within one year of storage. Broken fluorescent lamps shall be <br /> immediately cleaned up and containerized and managed as hazardous waste. <br /> * Immediately dispose of the above unbroken lamps in accordance to Universal Waste Rules, and make <br /> a hazardous waste determination of the broken lamp and managed accordingly, or dispose it as <br /> hazardous waste. Submit a copy of the disposal receipts to EHD by June 18, 2011. <br /> 85.
