A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately <br /> locate a copy of all bills of lading or manifests for lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, <br /> and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 117 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report program data electronically. <br /> A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS) for the hazardous waste program has not been <br /> made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new (or any changes to existing) <br /> hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br /> waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required <br /> fields. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> The 250 gallon used oil tote is stored outside. Contaminated absorbent has been left on top of the used oil tote. It <br /> appears that oil has spilled from transferring of oil into the used oil tote. Dark oil stains were found on the concrete <br /> next to the used oil tote. Dark oil stains were found on the dirt north of the shop. The grape harvester has dark oil <br /> stains on the dirt underneath it. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, <br /> explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br /> environment. Immediately clean up the contaminated absorbent and soil and the dark oil stains, and manage <br /> according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br /> this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> The two 55 gallon drums of drained used oil filters were left open and unlabeled. Used oil filters shall be drained of <br /> free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked with an <br /> accumulation start date. Immediately mark these containers with the required information, keep them closed unless <br /> adding or removing filters, and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years (2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 were not found on <br /> site.
