proper documentation is obtained and filed with it the proper manifest files.Evolution has also
implemented a process of spread sheets including information to any and all manifest that are required to
be on hand so that going forward there will be a log of paperwork prior to the manifest being placed in
file.
Evolution has implemented an IPP(Illness and Prevention Plan)and going forward has an improved
contingency plan should the situation arise of a spill or emergency situation that requires an Emergency
Coordinator. All information for these individuals has been posted to employees and the employees have
been informed in a monthly safety and IPP meeting that was conducted on April 1,2016. Supporting
documents as far as employee notifications are included in the Response Report to Environmental Health
Department of San Joaquin County. As far as a corrective action for the lids on drums marked
"HAZARDOUS WASTE"employees have been informed that the rules and regulations set forth in the
IPP and Contingency plan must be followed and seen through or the employee can face disciplinary
action from Evolution.Evolution acquired the proper labelling for the said so drums and containers to
properly label and mark the drum and containers as "HAZARDOUS WASTE". The stickers include the
information of Evolution, contaminants, hazardous properties, the state of the material, and the start of the
accumulation. All containers have been placed on and in secondary containment barriers such as
containment pallets and barrier drums as a form of additional protection to prevent the possibility of a
spill.
As to the oil stained areas near pavement edge please see the supporting documentation photos in the
response report to document that those areas have been cleared. The dirt and rock were shoveled and
disposed of in the drum provided by Ramos Environmental Services and disposed of through Ramos.
We at Evolution Equipment Services appreciate the time and effort that the San Joaquin County
Environmental Department has taken in bringing the items to our attention. We strive to be better as a
company that serves the agricultural community. As all know the process of implementing new practices
is a tedious learning process and going forward the county can be assured that we at Evolution will strive
to always do hetter and get the same standard amonest our emnlovees.
