This facility does not have a valid EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste; owner stated he has been using his previous EPA ID#CAL000334112 from 3400 Newton, which is invalid. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately obtain an EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. A form has been provided. This is a minor violation. 102 CCR 66262.11, 66262.40(c) Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 years. Oil in a 5-gallon bucket under the oil filter crusher requires hazardous waste determination and management. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a hazardous waste determination for the above-mentioned oil and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. This is a minor violation.
