The project would not result in "a substantial, or potentially substantial, adverse change in any of the physical conditions within the area affected by the project, including land, air, water, minerals, flora, fauna, ambient noise, and object of historic or aesthetic significance. Furthermore, the site is included on a list of hazardous materials sites compiled pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5. This project does not involve Air Quality/Green House Gas (GHGs) emissions because no cleanup or other action is necessary for the Site, and therefore, is below the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJAPCD) threshold levels. As a result, DTSC finds that the project is exempt from further environmental review under CEQA. 7. NEXT STEPS Public notice of the "Corrective Action Completion Determination" for the property, the seven SWMUs and two ADCs was published in the Manteca Bulletin, a daily circulation paper for San Joaquin County, on February 7, 2013. Project documents were made available for public review at the San Joaquin County Library, Manteca Branch (320 W Center Street, Manteca, local phone number provided 209-937-8221 for an appointment) and at the DTSC Sacramento Office (8800 Cal Center Drive, Sacramento, local phone number provided 916-255-3758 for an appointment) prior to the start of the public review and comment period. To inform the nearby residents and other agencies of the proposed determination, a fact sheet summarizing the investigation completed at Site was mailed on February 5, 2013 to 77 residents and businesses within 0.25 miles of the Site, including a priority mailing list consisting of State and local elected officials, State and local agencies and special interest groups who may have some interest in the Site. DTSC encouraged the public to comment and provide feedback on the Draft Report for the Site. Commenters were encouraged to submit their comments to the DTSC staff listed below any time before the close of the public comment period, March 8, 2013. At this time, a public meeting to discuss the determination has not been scheduled; however, if there is sufficient interest, DTSC will consider holding a public meeting.
