Articulates <br /> clearly. Listens to and understands others. <br /> • Customer Service—Within reason,does what it takes to meet expectations of internal and external <br /> customers. Acts in a professional manner towards customers and coworkers. <br /> • Ethics—Adheres to the policies and rules set forth by Allied Waste. Does not allow himself/herself <br /> or customers to bend the rules or cut corners. Is trustworthy and honest. <br /> • Planning—Develops schedules that make efficient use of employee time and Allied Waste resources. <br /> Organizes people and resources to complete all maintenance work orders. <br /> • Record Keeping—Keeps records regarding the status of vehicles and containers and maintenance <br /> performed on them. <br /> • Safety Orientation—Follows and promotes Allied Waste's safety rules and procedures. Shows an <br /> appreciation and sets an example for safe work behavior. Requires customers and coworkers to <br /> follow safety precautions. Does not take inappropriate risks. <br /> • Supervising Others—Sets clear and challenging goals for the mechanics. Provides timely coaching <br /> and training. Builds positive working relationships with his/her employees. <br /> REPRESENTATIVE MACHINES,TOOLS,EQUIPMENT AND/OR SOFTWARE USED: <br /> The following machines,tools,equipment and/or software are commonly,but not always,associated with the performance of this position. <br /> Actual machines,tools,equipment and/or software used will vary. <br /> • Office equipment including,but not limited to,telephone,fax,copier,calculator and computer. <br /> • Microsoft Office inlcuding Word and Excel. <br /> • Company information systems including InfoPro,CFA. <br /> ® Vehicle diagnostic equipment. <br /> Tools and equipment used in shop including,but not limited to,floor sweeper,fork lift,hydraulic <br /> hose,air powered tools,hand tools <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC WORKING CONDITIONS: <br /> The following esrvimnmentallatmospheric working conditions are commonly,but not always,associated with the performance of this position. <br /> The actual working conditions will vary. <br /> Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions. <br /> Shop environment including,but not limited to,machines,tools,trucks,solvents and chemicals,and <br /> refuse in trucks. <br /> The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, <br /> and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities,duties,and skills required by personnel so <br /> classified.
