STOCKTON PLANT <br /> Hazard Communication Program <br /> I Company Policv <br /> To ensure that all information about the dangers of hazardous chemicals <br /> used at the Stockton Plant are known by all affected employees, and to assure <br /> compliance with OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard, the following Hazard <br /> Communication Program has been established and put into effect. <br /> All employees of the company will participate in the Hazard <br /> Communication Program as provided herein. This written program will be kept in <br /> each Material Safety Data Sheet binder and be available for review by any <br /> interested employee. Any questions regarding this program should be directed <br /> to the Plant Manager. <br /> l/ Container Labeling <br /> The Plant Manacierwill verify that all containers received for use will: <br /> A. Be clearly labeled as to their contents. <br /> B. Have the appropriate hazard warning. <br /> C. List the name and address of the manufacturer. <br /> The Plant Manager in each department will ensure that any secondary <br /> containers used are labeled with either an extra copy of the original <br /> manufacturer's label or with labels that have the identity and the appropriate <br /> hazard warning. <br /> If a container is not correctly labeled, the Plant Manager will be notified <br /> and the product will not be used until the container is properly labeled. The Plant <br /> Manager will contact the supplier and require them to provide the correct labels. <br /> In order to assure continual compliance, the Plant Manager will review the <br /> company labeling procedures every six months and update them as required. <br /> I/I Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) <br /> The Plant Manaperwill be responsible for establishing and monitoring the <br /> company Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) program. He/she will make sure <br /> that MSDS's are obtained for all hazardous chemicals used at the Stockton <br /> Plant. He/she will ensure that any new information is given to affected <br /> employees and that they are properly trained in handling the new chemical. <br /> 3 <br />
