IX Electrical Protective Equipment <br /> All electrical protective equipment purchased such as insulating blankets, <br /> matting, covers, line hose, gloves, and sleeves made of rubber will meet the <br /> requirements of Title 29CFR 1910.137 as mandated by OSHA. Access to this equipment <br /> will be limited to maintenance personnel. <br /> X Training <br /> Annual training will be given to all employees with regards to personal protective <br /> equipment. The training will include the following information: <br /> 1. When personal protective equipment(PPE) is necessary. <br /> 2. What PPE is necessary. <br /> 3. How to properly wear PPE. <br /> 4. The limitations of the PPE. <br /> 5. Proper care and maintenance of the PPE. <br /> This training will be given to new hires and to employee(s) if there are changes in <br /> the workplace or changes in the types of PPE that renders previous training obsolete. All <br /> training will be properly documented and retained. (see Appendix 3) <br /> XI Written Hazard Certifications <br /> All completed hazard assessments will be made part of this written program. The <br /> (Plant Manager Jesus Jimenez) will be responsible for ensuring they are maintained <br /> current and up to date. <br /> 5 <br />
