Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> RE: Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report Response <br /> Stockton Pick-n-Pull,3927 Clark Drive, Stockton, CA, CERS ID 10183141 <br /> Dear Ms. Henry: <br /> On June 26 and 27, 2018 a routine hazardous waste generator inspection was conducted at the <br /> Pick-n-Pull Auto Dismantlers (Pick-n-Pull) facility located at 3927 Clark Drive in Stockton, <br /> California (Site). This letter provides responses to the findings of that inspection as noted in the <br /> Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report dated June 27, 2018. <br /> Proper EPA ID Number—#101 <br /> During the inspection, it was observed that the Site did not have a Federal EPA ID number. The <br /> EPA ID number CAL000269375 that the Site was using is a State designation number only. An <br /> application requesting a Federal EPA ID number was submitted to change the existing active EPA <br /> ID number. A copy of the application that was submitted to the Dept. of Toxic Substances Control <br /> (DTSC) on June 28, 2018 is provided in Attachment 1. <br /> Hazardous Waste Determination - #102 <br /> During the inspection, a small one-quart container of glazing compound was observed on the <br /> ground in the Customer Yard and several expired and damaged aerosol cans of paint were observed <br /> in a cargo storage container. The County stated that Pick-n-Pull failed to determine that these <br /> wastes were hazardous. At the time of the inspection, however, none of these items had yet been <br /> determined to be waste. It is unclear how the quart-sized container of glazing material came to be <br /> located in the Customer Yard. Glazing chemicals are not used onsite as there are no processes <br /> onsite that require such chemicals.
