LLNL Evaluates and Upgrades <br />Community Relations Program <br />Community concerns and information needs have been a <br />factor in the Livermore site cleanup decisions since 1983, <br />when investigations first started. Until the cleanup is <br />complete, we will continue to balance community <br />concerns with significant technical, legal, and policy issues. <br />DOE and LLNL began re-evaluating the community <br />relations program last fall. Almost 60 interviews were <br />conducted with representative members of the Tri - <br />Valley area public. We also met with the CWG to <br />hear their ideas. The regulatory agencies and CWG <br />are reviewing the Draft Revised Community Relations <br />Plan now.
