GENERAL INFORMATION <br />Department of Toxic Substances Control <br />Company Name: Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Site 300 (LLNLS300) <br />Facility Address: Corral Hollow Road, Tracy, California 94550 <br />Telephone Number: (925) 423-1596 <br />EPA ID Number: CA2 890 090 002 <br />Facility Type: Container storage & Explosive Waste Storage facilities (EWSF) & Explosive <br />Waste Treatment Facility (EWTF) for High Explosive (HE) waste. <br />Regulated Units: Permitted container storage at building 883, and EWSF, which includes six <br />magazines. Building 845-A/B are open burn/open detonation <br />(OB/OD) treatment units. Various generator Waste Accumulation Areas <br />(WAAs), and Satellite Accumulation Areas (SAAs). <br />Waste Streams: Explosive wastes; and non-RCRA ,Low Level Radioactive Waste from HE <br />experimental testing and destruction activities; waste solvents, paints, oils and <br />other waste generated from maintenance operations, unstable laboratory <br />reagents and by-products. <br />Regulatory Status: One permit for storage of hazardous waste, and explosive wastes issued in 1996 <br />and one permit for HE waste treatment issued in 1997. <br />Two Class II two permit modification applications were submitted on April 19, <br />2002, and on November 19, 2002. These modifications include eliminating <br />training courses from the training plan for positions that no longer perform the <br />activities that require the training, removal of specific courses from training plans <br />
