A hazardous waste generator shall not <br /> treat, store, dispose of,transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an ID number. If you or your <br /> business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous <br /> waste, then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. All others must obtain a State ID number. Go to the DTSC web <br /> site http,//www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to apply for an ID number. Immediately obtain <br /> an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 102 CCR 66262.11 Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> Metal shavings were found not contained around the rotor resurfacing machine, and the facility did not have a <br /> designated hazardous container for the metal shavings. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the <br /> waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately contain the metal shavings, make a hazardous waste determination for <br /> the metal shavings, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and <br /> supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for the past three years were not found on site. <br /> The facility is not using a hazardous waste hauler to pick up and dispose of the used oil, used absorbent, and metal <br /> shavings, but rather is taking their used oil to O'Reily's or PepBoys, as stated by the owner, Domingo. Hazardous <br /> waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately <br /> begin obtaining the past 3 years worth of hazardous waste disposal records and maintain them on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for the past 3 years were not found on site.
