He stated that the rail car was cleaned on 8-22-2015 and all <br />SC 544 <br />the waste is being stored at a temporary location pending profiling. Since he could <br />not indicated where that temporary location was, I asked to verify where the waste <br />was and if it was moved to provide a copy of the disposal record. Emailed Justin at <br />justin.piper@bnsf.com with my contact information so the copy of the disposal <br />record could be emailed to my attention. <br />08/25/2015 <br />ER documentation concerning spill response. <br />PE 2546 MANZO <br />30 min <br />SC 544 <br />08/26/2015 <br />Received and filed an email from Justin Piper, who stated that the waste is still <br />PE 2546 MANZO <br />18 min <br />onsite at the BNSF Stockton Rail yard pending profiling. Filed the email. <br />SC 544 <br />08/26/2015 <br />Reviewed a voice message from Justin (BNSF) who stated that two 55 -gallon poly <br />PE 2546 MANZO <br />18 min <br />drums are staged at BNSF 90 -day area pending profiling. This information is <br />SC 544 <br />contradictory to the information which was received from Haza Saeed (Haz. Mat <br />Sp.) who inspected the facility and was told that NRC had transported the waste <br />ofsite. <br />09/14/2015 <br />Reviewed complaint. Called Justin with BNSF (360-553-8672), left a voice <br />PE 2546 MANZO <br />12 min <br />message urging him to call me back I need to know the status of the clean up, left <br />SC 544 <br />my contact information. <br />09/14/2015 <br />Received a call back from Justin Piper, I asked that I need information regarding <br />PE 2546 MANZO <br />18 min <br />spill location, and conformation that all contaimanation was removed. He indicated <br />SC 544 <br />that only few drops made it to the ground and NRC had removed the impacted <br />material. He will contact NRC to see if they can provide pictrues from clean up <br />activities. He also provided Ervine Gellner (onsite formen) 510-231-2653 contact <br />information for onsite follow up. <br />12/11/2015 <br />Reviewed the complaint. NRC was contracted to do the clean up. Called David <br />PE 2546 MANZO <br />24 min <br />David Dell'Osso <br />SC 544 <br />NRC Environmental Services Inc, <br />(510) 749-4137 direct. Discussed the spill clean up (complete) and requested the <br />information regarding the the waste disposal. David will do some research and call <br />me back. <br />12/22/2015 <br />Reviewed the complaint, called Ervin Gellner with BNSF, 510-231-2653, and <br />PE 2546 MANZO <br />18 min <br />510-221-8062, no answer on either lines, left a voice message on the second line <br />SC 544 <br />stating that I have been trying to get information regarding this spill, but have not <br />been successful so far. Asked for clean up material disposal records, left my <br />contact information. <br />08/02/2017 Reviewed the complaint, the loose fitting was tighened and spillage on the rail car PE 2546 MANZO <br />30 min and impacted ballast was removed pending disposal, printed a final hazardous SC 007 <br />waste disposal manifest 014380358JJK (100 lbs of waste was generated and <br />disposed of under a hazardous waste manifesting procedure).
