This version supersedes all previous versions. <br />605 & 701. Two 55 -gallon drums of used oil had no hazardous waste label, and one 55 -gallon drum of <br />used oil had an accumulation start date of 1/7/2013. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked <br />with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste", <br />2. name and address of generator, <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state, <br />5. composition (contents), <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of <br />waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately label these <br />containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information and submit <br />evidence of correction by 08/08/2013. Since 2 of these drums have no hazardous waste label, they are <br />considered to have been on site longer than 180 days; immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br />hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by <br />08/08/2013. <br />703. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at <br />least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and <br />the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency <br />coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the <br />phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an <br />emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form is provided during this <br />inspection that can be used for this purpose. Submit proof of correction to the EHD by 08/08/2013 <br />809. Unable to determine the length of storage of one 55 -gallon drum of Universal Waste Aerosol Can <br />by the track. Universal Wastes, including aerosol cans, lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing <br />switches, CRT, electronic devices, etc. shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and <br />release to the environment, labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste, demonstrate the initial date <br />of accumulation, managed within one year of storage, and retained a copy of the disposal receipt for at <br />least 3 years on site.
