HAZARDOUS WASTE/MATERIALS RESPONSIBILITIES <br />Position Responsibility <br />Foreman Assures that personnel at the fixed mechanical facility are <br />trained and generally oversees proper storage and handling of <br />hazardous materials/wastes. <br />Lead Carman Responsible for storage of hazardous materials/wastes generated <br />at mechanical facility. Inspects and labels drums and bins. <br />Utilizes spill equipment to contain/cleanup spills. Contacts <br />BNSF/ROC to report spill. <br />Road master Responsible for storage of hazardous materials/wastes generated by <br />track maintenance team. Inspects and labels drums and bins. <br />Utilizes spill equipment to contain/cleanup spills. Contacts <br />BNSF/ROC to report spill. <br />Carman Places waste in proper containers. Transports waste <br />Machinist to collection area. Inspects drums for leaks <br />and properly covers drums.
