-3 - <br />The Emergency Coordinator has the responsibility of coordinating all response measures in <br />the event of an emergency. The Emergency Coordinator has technical assistance capability, <br />full facility access, and the authority to make decisions and commit company resources for <br />incident mitigation. He/she shall also be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the Facility <br />Contingency Plan, all operations and activities at the facility, the location and characteristics <br />of waste handled, the location of all records within the facility, and the facility layout. <br />Each facility's designated Emergency Coordinators and alternates are listed in the facility <br />Business Plan. <br />EU? iiiiiiiiiA <br />i ' r ,, <br />Immediate notification of the SOC is the responsibility of the Emergency Coordinator. The <br />System Operations Center (SOC) is designated as the emergency coordination center for the <br />entire system. The SOC coordinates and maintains an Emergency Preparedness Plan that <br />includes phone numbers for local emergency services, key railroad personnel, and local and <br />state agencies requiring notification. The SOC will contact Emergency Responders, the <br />Environmental Department, as necessary, and make the required notifications to local and <br />state agencies. <br />The SOC will notify the State Office of Emergency Services. Notifications must include: <br />• name and telephone number of caller; <br />• name and address of facility; <br />• time and type of incident; <br />• name, type and quantity of involved material(s), to the extent known; <br />• the extent of injuries, if any, and; <br />• possible hazards to human health and the environment, outside the facility. <br />If required, the Environmental Department will submit written reports. <br />Following is a list of emergency telephone numbers: <br />System Operations Center (SOC) ......................... 800-285-2164 <br />Office of Emergency Services (OES) ....................... 800-852-7550 <br />Mick Hardin, Manager Environmental Remediation .............. 909-386-4081 <br />(Pager) 1-800-759-7243, # 3054522 <br />LaDonna Williams, Manager Environmental Operations ........... 909-386-4082 <br />................................
