-2 - <br />Does not pose an explosion hazard. <br />Spill <br />• Does not involve over 100 gallons of a toxic, flammable or corrosive material. <br />• Does not threaten to react with surrounding material to cause a fire or <br />explosion. <br />• Does not discharge or threaten to discharge to sewer or surface waters. <br />• Does not involve a commercial pesticide or any material used to control <br />vegetation, insects, animal pests, or bacteria. <br />Major Event <br />Fire and/or Explosion <br />• The fire causes the release of toxic fumes. <br />• The fire spreads and could possibly ignite materials at other locations on-site or <br />could cause heat -induced explosions. <br />• The fire could possibly spread to off-site areas. <br />• An imminent danger exists that an explosion could ignite other hazardous <br />materials at the facility or result in the release of a toxic material. <br />• An explosion has occurred. <br />Spill <br />• The spill could results in a release of flammable liquids or vapors that could <br />cause a fire or gas explosion hazard. <br />• The spill could cause the release of significant quantities of toxic liquids or <br />fumes that could threaten human health or the environment. <br />• The spill cannot be contained on-site or will discharge to sewer or surface <br />water. <br />
