The following amounts of hazardous waste were generated at this facility and manifested off site for: <br />1. 1987 - 8,800 gallons of waste oil. <br />2. 1988 - 104 cubic yards of contaminated soil from underground tank removals. <br />3. 1989 - 420,000 gallons (30,000 lbs.) of waste waster/oil. This was manifested by box car to <br />the Barstow AT & S facility. <br />►•jilt Vto) 1nT03Z <br />A- Section 25189.5(b), Division 20, Health and Safety Code. Hazardous waste is being disposed <br />of at a point not authorized by the Department of Health Services as evidenced by: <br />o Waste oil contamination on oil around fill area of underground tank car. <br />m <br />ar, (0(0� a -CA C, 0 P- C g <br />oeverai arums aiscoverea on site without proper labels or accumulation startdates. <br />C. Section 67257 (d) 1 - continuously fed waste must have a means to stop inflow. <br />o No device in place to prevent overfilling of underground waste oil/water/diesel storage <br />tank car. <br />D. Section 67259 (a) generator must: inspect discharge control equipment daily. <br />1. Inspect data from monitoring equipment daily. <br />2. Inspect the level of waste in operating tank daily. <br />3. Inspect for corrosion and leaks in waste tank. <br />4. Inspect discharge confinement area weekly for corrosion and leaks. <br />No monitoring of any kind is in evident for underground storage tank car. <br />E. Section 67105 (a), 265.16(a) and 671095 (b)/265.16(b), and 67105 (e)/265.16 (e).
