Worth site co s train repairs, truck <br />maintenance, freight car loading and classification. AT & S <br />is a 15 acre site and employs 75 people. <br />Water, which is used to clean the train engines is pumped into <br />box cars and shipped to AT&S facility in Barstow where it is <br />put into an oil/water separator. In 1988 and 1989 <br />contaminated soil from underground tank removals was hauled <br />under manifest to Cassmailia Class I k",-andfill. <br />V. HAZARDOUS WASTE ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: <br />b <br />1. The bulk of hazardous waste generated Jn` this site is <br />don ✓t4 A6-&**- <br />fqm <br />waste water^usad-i-n cleaning the train engines. <br />4 In the past, waste water from the service rack <br />area was pumped into a sump on site (an underground tank <br />box car). Plans ar- being prepared to remove the <br />underground box car. <br />2. From 1988- 1989 contaminated soil was manifested off site <br />to Cass alfa Landfill. This was a one time generation <br />of soil/hazardous waste from tank removals (104.75 cubic <br />yards). <br />VI OBSERVATIONS: <br />Kasey Foley and I arrived at AT & S at 1000 hours. Upon <br />arriving, we met with Dave Irwin, site manager. We identified <br />
