Immediately have an assessment prepared for the 525 gallon used <br /> oil tank and the 525 gallon used antifreeze tank. Submit a schedule showing when this will be accomplished to the <br /> EHD . Submit the assessments to the EHD for review once they are completed . <br /> This is a Class I violation . <br /> 507 CCR 66265 . 195 Failed to conduct daily inspections of hazardous waste tank system and maintain records onsite . <br /> Inspections of the hazardous waste tank systems for the used oil tank and the used antifreeze tank were not <br /> performed and documented . The following items are required to be inspected at least daily : <br /> 1 . overfill/spill control equipment; <br /> 2 . aboveground portions of the tank system to detect corrosion or releases of water; <br /> 3 . data gathered from monitoring and leak-detection equipment, <br /> 4 , outside areas of the tank system including secondary containment to detect erosion or signs of releases of <br /> hazardous waste ; <br /> 5 . for uncovered tanks , the level of waste in the tank. <br /> Immediately begin required inspections of the hazardous waste tank system , and document the items inspected . <br /> Submit a copy of the inspection log for the next 30 days to the EHD . <br /> This is a Class II violation . <br /> 605 CCR 66262 . 34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste . <br /> In the shop : <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily debris ( 1 /4 full ) was observed without an accumulation start date. <br /> This label was corrected on site. <br /> -Two black 55 gallon steel drums containing paper oil filters (both 1 /2 full) were observed without hazardous waste <br /> labels . <br /> Outside : <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing paper oil filters (full ) was observed with an illegible accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing paper oil filters (full ) was observed with a hazardous waste label that <br /> was facing another drum and not readable . <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing oily debris and used oil ( 1 /2 full ) was observed without a hazardous waste <br /> label . <br /> - One blue 16 gallon steel drum containing oily debris and used oil ( 1 /2 full ) was observed without a hazardous <br /> waste label . <br /> This is a Class II violation . <br /> FA0010931 PRO514459 SCO01 12/14/2018 <br /> EHD 22-02 Rev. 09/22/16 Page 8 of 9 Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br />
