A paper oil filter was also observed in the drum . The date was corrected on site and the oil paper filter was <br /> removed . <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil , stored in a closed , rainproof container, labeled as "drained used <br /> oil filters , " and marked with an accumulation start date. Ensure that all drained used oil filters are properly managed . <br /> Outside : <br /> One black 55 gallon steel drum containing punctured metal oil filters was observed with an accumulation start date <br /> of 8/30/2017 . <br /> Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that <br /> generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days . Immediately recycle these filters <br /> under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD . <br /> This is a Class II violation . <br /> Overall Inspection Comments : <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection . The report was amended by <br /> the EHD . The amended report replaces the initial report. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation , and any supporting <br /> paperwork , within 30 days of receiving the amended inspection report . <br /> Note : Violations 501 , 502 and 507 were added . Violations 102 , 303 , and 605 were reworded . <br /> Waste Streams : used oil , used antifreeze , paper/metal oil filters , absorbent , oily rags , batteries , aerosol cans <br /> Facility generated 25 . 82 tons of hazardous waste in 2018 and will be placed in a higher permit category . This <br /> may result in an increase in fees . <br /> Arrived back to the facility on 12/ 14/2018 and took samples of the pond wastewater and soil .
