The contaminated soil will be excavated and <br />transported to a licensed landfill for disposal. The concrete flooring will be <br />replaced after the excavated area is back filled with clean soil. DTSC is the <br />lead regulatory agency over Site environmental activities. The comment period starts on <br />damagefrom <br />April 10, 2006 and closes on May 10, 2006. <br />hazardous n rift, <br />Background <br />The 1.1 acre Site operated as a printed circuit board manufacturing facility <br />and restoring <br />from 1987 through 2001. The current land use in the surrounding area is <br />wnta,ninated <br />primarily commercial and industrial; however, several residential housing <br />units are located within 1/8 mile of the Site.
