The goal of the work is to remove any hazardouswaste and <br />clean, decontaminate, and drum up of all liquids generated during the <br />cleaning process, <br />1. The equipment listed above will be cleaned by triple rinsing the <br />chambers that previously housed the chemical that weee,.ased-_dutiag <br />the manufacturing process. Each piece of equipment will be decon- <br />taminated in the following manner: <br />A. The chemical chambers will be tripe rinsed, cleaned, wiped dry, <br />and all chemical residues will be wiped clean. <br />B. The rinse water generated from the triple rinsing process will <br />be pumped into a drum. The drum will be properly labeled for <br />its contents, accumulation date, piece of equipment, etc. <br />The drum will be left on-site at the decontamination area for <br />disposal at a later date by others. <br />C. Each piece of equipment will be wiped clean to remove all visual <br />contamination. All rags, sponges, etc. will be placed into a <br />drum along with the personal proctective clothing and properly <br />labeled, left on-site for disposal at a later date by others. <br />2. The floor area or pathway in front of the equipment will be cleared <br />baf/ore the equipment is moved as required. <br />3. Tha'doors of the area will be opened for ventilation and fans will be <br />ed as required to ensure adequate ventilation. <br />4. The wood flooring surrounding the equipment in the plating area will <br />he covered with steel plates to facilitate the removal of the <br />equipment by the forklifts. The steel plates will be removed after„ <br />the equipment has been removed. �-rJ <br />5. Each piece of equipment, prior to removal will have all of the lines <br />plugged and sealed. All electrical lines will be taped. If required, �� <br />the drain pans will be cleaned and removed. <br />6. After the equipment has been removed, the building floor areae will <br />be cleaned as -required: <br />7. The building will he inspected for a final tine, the doors will be <br />closed to return the building to its original condition. All <br />rinsate drum willbe left on-site for disposal. by others. <br />8. All personnel involved in the decontamination have been 40 hour <br />hazardous waste certified trained. Certificates will be provided <br />to the County Health Department. <br />2. <br />
