The goal of the work is to remove any hazardouswaste and clean, decontaminate, and drum up of all liquids generated during the cleaning process, 1. The equipment listed above will be cleaned by triple rinsing the chambers that previously housed the chemical that weee,.ased-_dutiag the manufacturing process. Each piece of equipment will be decon- taminated in the following manner: A. The chemical chambers will be tripe rinsed, cleaned, wiped dry, and all chemical residues will be wiped clean. B. The rinse water generated from the triple rinsing process will be pumped into a drum. The drum will be properly labeled for its contents, accumulation date, piece of equipment, etc. The drum will be left on-site at the decontamination area for disposal at a later date by others. C. Each piece of equipment will be wiped clean to remove all visual contamination. All rags, sponges, etc. will be placed into a drum along with the personal proctective clothing and properly labeled, left on-site for disposal at a later date by others. 2. The floor area or pathway in front of the equipment will be cleared baf/ore the equipment is moved as required. 3. Tha'doors of the area will be opened for ventilation and fans will be ed as required to ensure adequate ventilation. 4. The wood flooring surrounding the equipment in the plating area will he covered with steel plates to facilitate the removal of the equipment by the forklifts. The steel plates will be removed after„ the equipment has been removed. �-rJ 5. Each piece of equipment, prior to removal will have all of the lines plugged and sealed. All electrical lines will be taped. If required, �� the drain pans will be cleaned and removed. 6. After the equipment has been removed, the building floor areae will be cleaned as -required: 7. The building will he inspected for a final tine, the doors will be closed to return the building to its original condition. All rinsate drum willbe left on-site for disposal. by others. 8. All personnel involved in the decontamination have been 40 hour hazardous waste certified trained. Certificates will be provided to the County Health Department. 2.
