Chemical Spill <br />Should a chemical spill occur during the decontamination of the <br />equipment, the chemical will be contained by use of asorbant or <br />diking with booms, pads, or other means as rewired. The chemicals <br />will be eolidificd, placed into a drum, and left on slte for <br />disposal by others. The drum will. be properly labeled and left <br />on-site. <br />2. personal Injury <br />On-site there are portable eye wash stations, telephone, and a <br />temporary decontamination area. Should the person come in contact <br />with a chemical or chemicals, ther person will be decontaminated <br />Immediately. The site safety officer will administer first aid <br />immediately. The type of first aid administered will depend upon <br />the type of chemical that the person came in contact with. The <br />patient will be transported to the nearest medical facility after <br />initial on-site treatment has been given. <br />S. <br />
