SENT RY:TF COPY CENTER <br />SCOL <br />;10-31-93 <br />• <br />1:13PM ; <br />120946401384 51 9 <br />40 <br />Work Plan for Platiag Line Equipment Reaoval <br />Circuit works, Inc., Stockton, California <br />Listed below are the steps that are going to be performed prior to <br />the removal, transportation and final destination of each piece of <br />equipment. The goal of the work is to remove any hazardous waste and <br />clean, decontaminate, and drum up of all liquids generated during the <br />cleaning praceae. <br />1. The equipment listed above will be cleaned by triple rinsing the <br />chambers that previously contained the chemicals that were used during <br />the manufacturing process. Each piece of equipment will be decon- <br />taminated in the following manner: <br />A. The chamical chambers will be rriple rinsed, cleaned, wiped dry, <br />and all chemical residues will be wiped clean. <br />B. The rinse water generated from the triple rinsing process will <br />be pumped into a drum. The drum will be properly labeled for <br />its contents, accumulation date, piece of equipment, etc. <br />The drum will be left on-site at the decontamination area for <br />disposal at a later date by others. <br />C. Each piece of equipment will be wiped clean to remove all visual <br />contamination. All rags, sponges, etc. will be placed into a <br />drum along with the personal protective clothing and properly <br />labeled, left on-site for disposal at a later date by others. <br />2. The floor area or pathway in front of the equipment will be cleared <br />before the equipment is moved. <br />3. The doors of the area will be opened for ventilation and fans will be <br />used as required to ensure adequate ventilation. <br />4. The wood flooring surrounding the equipment in the plating area will <br />be covered will steel plates to facilitate the removal of the <br />equipment by forklifts. After the equipment is removed, the steel <br />plates will be cleaned prior to removal. <br />5. Prior to removal, each piece of equipment will have. all f the lines <br />taped and plugged, the electrical lines will be taped, and all drain <br />pans will be cleaned and removed. <br />6. After the equipment has been removed, the building floor areas will <br />be cleaned. <br />7. The building will be inspected for a final tima, the doors will be <br />closed, and the building will be returned to its original condition. <br />All rinsate drums will be left on-site foT disposal by others. <br />2 <br />
