A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately contact DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD by 11-7-11. A form has been provided. Class II Violation. 108. Used sand blast media is accumulating on the shop floor next to the sand blast machine without first determining hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately vW stop accumulating used sand blast media on the shop floor next to the sand blast machine, make a hazardous waste determination for the used sand blast media, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by 11-7-11. Class II Violation. 122 & 125. Only one consolidated manifest for used oil from this year was available for review. Mike Praeder stated that he disposes of his used oil every six month. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for 2008, 2009, & 2010 were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by 11-7-11. Class I I Violation. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
