Bills of lading for the recycllheg of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by 11-7-11. Class II Violation. 135. The return to compliance certification documents have not yet been received for the routine hazardous waste inspection report dated July 31, 2008. The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report pursuant to paragraph (2) shall submit a written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require, which shall include a statement documenting corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for purposes of compliance with this chapter. Correct immediately by completing and submitting the return to compliance documents to the EHD for the routine hazardous waste inspection report dated July 31, 2008. Class II Violation. 301. There is spilled oil on the shop floor next to the drum of used oil and the drum of used oil filters. There are dark oil stains on the floor throughout the shop. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the spilled oil and dark oil stains, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by 11-7-11. Class II Violation. 404. Several five gallon buckets of waste solids from the parts washer and a thirty gallon container of oily sludge from the oil water separator were left open next to the parts washer. Mike Praeder states he takes this waste to the San Joaquin County Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility near the airport. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
