AEI Project No. 353448
January 29, 2016
Boring Destruction
Following completion of sample collection and removal of tooling, the borings will be backfilled
with neat cement grout as required by the SJCEHD and completed at the surface to match the
surrounding conditions.
Laboratory Analysis
The soil samples will be labeled and placed into a cooler with ice following sampling. All of the
samples will be transferred under appropriate chain -of -custody documentation to a state -
certified laboratory.
Laboratory analysis of soil samples will consist of the following:
• TPH multi -range by EPA Method 8015M
• Volatile Organic Compounds by EPA Method 8260
• Organochlorine Pesticides by EPA Method 8081A
• Arsenic, Lead, and Chromium by EPA Method
5.0 Estimated Schedule
AEI understands that the client is attempting to refinance the subject property, and that the
refinance is contingent upon the completion of this project.
Completion of this work is contingent upon approval of this work plan, receipt of approved
drilling permits, and pending subcontractor availability. Work will be scheduled upon review of
this work plan by the SJCEHD. It is expected that drilling will occur shortly thereafter.
Laboratory analytical results will be available within approximately one week following the
sample collection.
6.0 Reporting
A final report will be prepared following the receipt of analytical data. The report will detail the
investigation methods along with the analytical results. The report will include boring logs. All
results, reports, and environmental information will be released to the SJCEHD as soon as it is
available, as per the Billing and Compliance Acknowledgement on the Master File Record form.
