Empty containers not marked "Empty" and with date it became empty. Approximately six 275 gallon plastic totes empty of variety of dye concrete mix are stored at the rear of the office. The totes are not marked "Empty" and with date it became empty. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. Since it is unknown how long they have been stored on site, correct by submitting a disposal record for these totes. 605 & 701. Storage of hazardous waste longer than 180 days and container of hazardous waste not properly labeled. A 55 gallon blue metal drum, located in the lube shop, is nearly full of presumed to be used antifreeze (located adjacent to the new 55 gallon antifreeze material) lacks all the information on the hazardous waste label except the words "Hazardous Waste". All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: 1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties 4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since it is unclear how long this container has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
