Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br />The drum of drained used oil filters was not kept closed and had an accumulation start date of 5-7-14. Used oil filters <br />shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and <br />marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately transfer some of the drained used oil filters to another <br />compatible container that can be closed, close the existing drum of drained used oil filters, and ensure that all used oil <br />filters are managed in this way. <br />Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each bill of <br />lading must be kept on site for at least three years- Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters <br />for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by July 19, 2015. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
