Immediately begin this practice, submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days: <br /> 1) Two containers (one glass jar and one black plastic bag, <1 Ib) of magnesium waste located lin the satellite <br /> accumulation area of the northern site building, did not have an appropriate label with an initial start date marked. <br /> 2) One 5 gallon container with a faded damaged hazardous waste label was observed inside the paint mixing room, <br /> no accumulation start date was visible. <br /> Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 <br /> days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 603 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(C) Failed to mark initial accumulation start date on satellite containers. <br /> Two containers (one glass jar and one black plastic bag, <1 Ib) of magnesium waste located in the satellite <br /> accumulation area of the northern site building, did not have an appropriate label with an initial start date marked. <br /> The initial date of waste accumulation shall be clearly marked and visible for inspection on each container used for <br /> satellite accumulation of hazardous waste.
