Inspection Report : Facility Name <br /> Pilkington North America, Inc. <br /> The inspection then proceeded to the wastewater treatment plant near hazardous waste <br /> storage area situated outside. DTSC staff observed a leaking pump for the wastewater <br /> treatment plant and one unfastened 55-gallons drum containing sludge from the wastewater <br /> treatment plant without accumulation start date located near the wastewater treatment plant. <br /> PNA violated Cal. Code Regs., tit. 22, § 66265.31, in that the facility failed to clean up oily <br /> spills on the floor from the leaking pump in the wastewater treatment plant area situated <br /> outside the building. This violation was not included in the Summary of Violations that was left <br /> with the facility on December 15, 2010 but now being added as a Class II violation in this <br /> inspection report. PNA violated Cal. Code Regs., tit. 22, § 66265.173 (a), in that PNA failed to <br /> keep one 55-gallon drum containing sludge from the wastewater treatment plant closed except <br /> when adding or removing hazardous waste. This violation was not included in the Summary of <br /> Violations that was left with the facility on December 15, 2010 but now being added as a Class <br /> II in this inspection report. PNA also violated Cal. Code Regs., tit. 22, § 66265.31, in that the <br /> facility failed to properly label one 55-gallon drum located near the wastewater treatment plant <br /> containing sludge from the wastewater treatment plant with the accumulation start date.
