Mr. Michael Kith
July 6, 2000
Page 2
Note: If this plan needs to be updated in any way after your review,
please let me know so any changes can be made.
4) Item #49 under Personnel Training. A training seminar was held for our
service technicians on hazardous spill response and on MSDS information.
Attached is a sign-in sheet, copies of which have been placed in each
technician's file. We have also ordered Employee Training Manuals from
Safety Kleen on the subject of Service Repair Shop Hazardous Materials
Program. Attached is a copy of the order receipt. Once the manuals arrive,
we will have training sessions for the service technicians, have them
complete the hazardous material workbooks and place signed copies in each
personnel file.
5) Item #69 under Tanks. Attached is a copy of our daily inspection form which
we prepared. We verified access to the inner cab air space between the dual
walls of our waste oil and antifreeze tanks. The waste antifreeze tank had a
built-in dipstick. We are using a metered dipstick designed for tanks on our
waste oil tank. The completed forms will be kept in a separate file for the
waste tanks.
6) Item #75 under Other. All items listed on continuation forms are addressed in
the above descriptions.
In closing, I would ask that you please advise us if any additional action is required,
after your review of the attached information.
Your help and advice in this matter is appreciated.
Sincer y you ,
er Ferrell
Service Manager
Enclosures
