CONSOLIDATED CONTINGENCY PLAN OCT 2 9 2014 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL I "-',LTH <br />EMPLOYEE TRAINING PLA' <br />Training requirements can be found in Health and Safety Code Chapter 6.95 Article 1, Chapter 11 6.5, Title <br />19 § 2732, and Chapter 22 of California Code of Regulations § 66265.16. <br />Hazardous Material Business Plan Requirements <br />Methods of Safe Handling of Hazardous Materials <br />Only qualified personnel (as determined by job type and training) are allowed to handle hazardous <br />materials on-site in accordance with Shell's Residual Management Procedures (RMP) plan (for <br />Hazardous Wastes). Methodology for handling are found either in accordance with manufacturer's <br />specifications, per the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) or site/material-specific Shell procedural or label <br />instructions (for all other Hazardous Materials). RMP requirements are summarized later in this Training <br />Plan. At a minimum, the SDS specifications will be made available to personnel and followed by qualified <br />personnel. <br />Safety Procedures in the Event of a Release or Threatened Release of Hazardous Material as describe <br />in the Contingency Plan <br />Facility personnel are trained to recognize conditions that have a potential to cause an abnormal <br />condition, and to take immediate corrective action. Site personnel will stop processes and/or <br />operations in the event of a spill. Local emergency responders will be contacted if needed. If necessary, <br />threatened areas will be evacuated.
