CONSOLIDATED CONTINGENCY PLAN OCT 2 9 2014 <br />Hazardous Waste Generator Requirements (Procedures for Storage/Generation of Hazardous Waste) <br />Shell maintains a list of TSDFs (as determined by the Shell ORT Approved List). All residual materials are <br />to be sent to facilities approved by Shell. Transporters are required to abide by Shell's 12 Life Saving <br />Rules. If Transporters are unaware of Shell's 12 Life Saving Rules, on-site qualified personnel will make <br />them aware (or stop work if unqualified to proceed). <br />Interaction with Waste Haulers and Disposal Sites Including Manifesting <br />Qualified personnel are trained in RCRA/DOT Manifesting and sign for all shipments. Qualified <br />personnel are to call the RDC if there are any discrepancies between profiling and manifest or if they <br />have any questions. Per the requirements in the RMP, qualified personnel are required to verify that <br />the transporter/driver has the appropriate license for handling the residual materials PRIOR to loading. <br />Conducting and Documentation of Periodic Inspections <br />Facility and RDC maintains Waste Logs and (if required) Weekly Waste Inspection reports as per the <br />RMP. The RDC maintains the logs and the documentation accompany each Residual Information Pick-up <br />Request (RIPR). RIPRs are maintained on-site upon completion and kept in accordance with Shell's <br />retention policy. <br />Frequency of Inspections: Weekly (if required) <br />Specific Training Topics <br />Training on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) including specific hazard(s) of each chemical to which employees <br />may be exposed, including routes of exposure is required. <br />Procedures for Specific Job Titles (optional) <br />In addition to the above training topics, please provide any supplemental training topics, if applicable: <br />Personal Responsibilities <br />Personnel Responsible for Ensuring Training Meets All Requirements: Miguel Torres <br />Trainine Tasks Conducted By <br />RCRA Manifesting Shell/RDC <br />HAZWOPER Level 1 Shell <br />HAZWOPER Level 2 Shell <br />Training Frequency <br />• New employees must complete training within 6 months of employment or assignment to a new <br />position. <br />• All employees should receive at least annual training, including refresher courses. <br />• In the event of new assignments or changes in operation, training will be provided before the <br />new assignment or change in operation takes place.
