In the event that additional treatment unit(s) are added after
the fluidized bed biological reactor. and batch sampling is no longer representative of the
discharge, the Discharger may request the sample point be moved to the outfall, and
implement the change in monitoring point upon the approval of the Executive Officer.
Grab samples shall be collected from the effluent port.
The test shall be rainbow trout (Oneorhvnchus mvkiss), following methods specified in
EPA/600/4-90/027 (Methods for [Measuring the Acute Toxicity of Effluents and Receiving
Waters to Freshwater and Marine Organisms).
Composite sampies shall be collected from the outfall which are representative of the
volume and nature of the effluent over the duration of each batch discharge.
STORM WATER MONITORING
Storm Nvater shall be monitored visually prior to being discharged to the San Joaquin River. A record
shall be kept of the visual observations and the dates and estimated volumes of water discharged. The
information shall be summarized in the monitoring reports.
